Welcome to Monsieur Sam's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Monsieur Sam
Sam loved every single person in our family. He was excited to see any of them and knew them all by name. Sam would scratch rapidly at the window if he saw one of his people when we were in the car. If Sam saw someone coming to the house, he would jump as high as the window on the door and you would see his little head coming up until you opened the door. He was only 9 pounds so that was quite a feat. I could not wait until the end of the work day to get home to my baby boy. He truly changed my life and fulfilled it. Sam was cuddly and tough all rolled into one. He loved to chase birds and gophers and would dig in gopher holes until his whole head was down there. LOL As much as he loved doing this, it was not a good idea that Mommy let him when the campsite was pretty empty. Sometimes he would dart out the door after that dang gopher or the birds and that is what happened to take him away from me. A visitor driving way too fast ended his precious little life. We will all miss him and we plan to bring home one of his baby brothers in a few months! I will be putting up a fence before that, you can be sure!
