Memories of Molly
Molly you were such an amazing little girl. Mommy and I remember driving the 5 hours to come rescue you like it was yesterday. We had no idea what to expect or how you would take to us or your new home and new fur siblings. You were quiet and curious on the 5 hour trip home but you were so happy because you knew you found your forever home. You were our first rescue and needless to say you fit right in the minute we got you home. Your new brothers and sisters welcomed you with open arms and you reciprocated. Friends and family would marvel at how well you fit in so quick with 2 other dogs and 3 cats and how well mannered and well behaved you were. Molly you were told how you hit the jackpot but mommy and I would always say we are the ones who hit the jackpot. We are so lucky and blessed to have had you in our lives. The day you were diagnosed with an aggressive untreatable cancer was one of the worst days of our lives. I was hoping you would outlive me so I wouldn't have to say goodbye. We couldn't have asked for a better best friend. You had an incredible personality and you were always so happy and filled with love. We miss everything about you We miss you eating edamame with Mommy, to hearing you go crazy when a doorbell chime in a commercial or tv show went off. We miss you running and hiding under the bed when the tub would get filled because you thought you were getting a bath. i miss you racing into the kitchen even though you were sound asleep because you heard me peel plastic off of a slice of cheese. We miss your bark, your smile, your snorting when you got excited. We miss how you would extend your back legs out when playing with a toy. I miss our nightly chats and stares and how you would nudge me and kiss me. We miss you barking when it was geese season or when you heard a lawn mower. We miss you sleeping in bed with us and one us waking up with paws in our face. Your brothers and sisters miss you too Molly. You left quite the impression on all of them. Molly you were an angel with paws and we will miss you and love you forever. I know you are now healthy and having fun with Vinny, Veda and Shanks.
