Memories of Mitzie
Mitzie was Daddy's best friend. She made Daddy fall in love with her when she was just a few weeks old kitten.

Mitzie was a beautiful little Tuxedo cat. Her markings looked like she had a black coat draped around her with a black mask, white boots and little white mittens. I used to say she had little white mittzies on (how we derived the name Mitzie) and tell her that she was all dressed up and ready to go out.

Mitzie laid on Daddy's lap everyday while I was working. Sometimes, she liked to tap on my keyboard...I think she thought the letters were bugs.

Mitzie loved to steal socks. She had one sock that was her favorite toy. I used to say she was playing "ratty" because she would carry the sock around in her mouth making a high-pitched meow like she was taking her catch back to her litter. She also loved to pounce on Daddy's foot after I had put my sox on in the morning and would playfully scratch and bite my foot.

Mitzie did this cute begging thing when there was people food around where she would sit on her hind legs and rub her front paws together.

Mitzie loved to have a tussle with her cat brother Harry. I used to say she was doing jujutsu. For a tiny cat she was very feisty.

Mitzie was always with me during both good and the difficult times in my life laying on my lap with her soft soothing purr just making things seem ok.

Our hearts are broken, and we will miss her forever.
