Minuette (pictured on the right) was the love of our life. She died on February 11, 2010 of congestive heart failure/pneumonia. She was a beautiful little puppy with so much love, from the minute that we had brought her home. She loved her family especially my daughter, Lisa. She was a mom to Jacques and Phoebe. Jacques and Phoebe loved Minuette and always knew that she was their mom. |
Jacques (dog in middle) died on Sept 4, 2008. He was also a beloved dog who watched over Minuette, Phoebe and our cats, Sophie and Missy. They were all buddies. He loved to play ball and chase his squeaky toy. He was very healthy all of his life until he got sick (Cushings Disease and Diabetes). There is a very large void at our house now. Our dogs were loved dearly.
Phoebe (pictured on the left)passed away on March 19th 2016. Phoebe played with her squeaky nonstop until she was 13.5 years old. She was the last of our beautiful poodle family and will be truly missed. She live to be 18.5 years of age and still gave us kisses and wagged her tail.
Minuette was my little helper in the kitchen. Every Christmas, I would buy doggie gingerbread cookie-bisquit mix, and our dogs would patiently sit and watch me cut out every dog bisquit. Our dogs loved it, and they would sit by the oven the whole time and watch the bisquits bake. They guarded their Christmas presents under the tree. They enjoyed all of the holidays. But most of all enjoyed sitting with us in our lazy boy recliners. They loved going to McDonalds to get ice cream and knew that we were there when they would see the golden arches. When we had surgeries, they would check on us constantly and stay with us in case we needed help. They were so devoted.
What wonderful dogs that we were so fortunate to love! We will never forget them.
