Milly loved to jump, run, and explore. If she saw something she wanted to see, she ran for it every time. It only took two times of me not closing the storm shutter door properly to end up chasing after her as she chased the ducks across the complex. She loved to chase lizards too. She was always the inquisitory nosey neighbor. She loved to give love licks and snuggle with her special peeps, though she was reserved with people she was unsure of. |
She never met a piece of cheese or chicken that she did not like. She was small but mighty. We traveled far and explored lots together and I will never forget her loyalty as a dog. She was the most loyal dog I have ever met. Her determination and stubbornness gave her a short but exciting life and allowed her to live her best doggie life.
Although I found her at a rescue, it is she who saved me. I will be forever grateful for the time we had together. I hope to see her every night in my dreams. She was a good sister to Penelope, even though she sometimes would bully the food bowl. But a gentle reminder to her to share was all it took for her to not dog hog the food bowls.
Now she can twirl, frolic, and jump without pain. She will be able to clean her face on the rug without hurting herself. She loved to do that. She can burrow and find a comfy spot.
