Forget me not, friend of my better days, none knew you but to love you, none spoke of you but to praise.....******* My Beloved Sis Sis, Captain My Captain, oh, how I miss you today and every day. I didn't forget your anniversary in Heaven, love, I just couldn't think of anything to say that would let you know how really special you were to Mother and to me, and how much I miss you every day. You were the consummate lady, and you came into our lives at a time when we needed you more than anything. You gave joy to Mother's last years on this Earth, and you brought me joy as I started my life without her. When my father died and Mother was alone, you helped to fill that very big void. In her later years she was so surprised and happy to have a new friend in her life, something she hadn't counted on, and that new friend was you. You were there when I said goodbye to Dorothy, and you are here in my heart every day. As our Mother's friends flew through the door every day to visit her, they knew you would be there and they enjoyed visiting with you. You had a smile, a warm heart, and a welcoming grace. I love you forever.
