I lost my Maddie August 20, 2018. She was the best girl ever. She's been by my side for 14 years, protecting and loving us. She's seen marriage, 3 babies, and 7 houses. She used to run with John and eventually slowed down to walking with me. She hasn't been able to walk for a while but she did get to make one last trip to North Dakota last month and I'm so glad she did. Love you forever Mads. 💜 As Harper said this morning- "Maddie is all better now" 😇 It's been 3 weeks since you left us. Our hearts are broken because everywhere we look, you're not there. Love you forever Mads- our angel girl. I miss seeing you sprawled out in the grass when I pull into the driveway. I miss your bark- the warning someone was at the door. I miss your snore. It comforted me at night to hear it. I miss the wag of your tail and how you used to chunky dunk when you'd get really excited. And most of all I miss the way you'd paw me for more loving. I hope you are running again and eating cheeseburgers in heaven. |
