Memories of MAC
In 2008 I got a second chance in life and love and left my mum, kids and grandies to live with my Aussie husband in Down Under.
I missed everything and everybody so badly, despite the warmest welcome you could wish for here in Australia.

A month later Mac came into our lives as a nine weeks old puppy. Whilst I was still waiting for my working papers, he was the light in those days and my companion 24/7. Without him I most likely wouldn't be here anymore.

We had such a strong bond and love for each other. Even when he loved hubby too, he was definitely "my" dog.
When he was diagnosed with a growth in his stomach and anaemia we were just devastated. At the end we had to make the heartbreaking decision to put him to sleep. He didn't deserve to suffer. This day was absolutely gut wrenching.

I miss him every single day and go often to his favourite spot in the garden where we laid him to rest.

We have little Maisie in our life now, a rescue dog. She brings so much joy and I'm thankful to have her. Lucky us.

But Mac is still so very much missed and always will be.

See you at the Rainbow Bridge.........
