Memories of Mía
On February 2017, on a cold afternoon i was heading home when i saw a kitten looking at me. I went over to pet her little head and she responded with a soft meow into my ear. A man came out of his house, and i asked him if the kitten was his. He said yes. As a joke, i told him i was going to take her home. He said, if you want her, you can take her.

I said, really?

And that is when our adventure started. I named her Mía, which is "mine" in Spanish. She was scared of human interaction. It took a lot out of her, and out of me, but she became the sweetest of kittens. She was my absolute best friend. We slept together. Woke up together. Had breakfast together. Went to class together, and she would even come with me to the bathroom.

June 1st 2017, my best friend in the whole wide world was murdered by two unleashed dogs when she escaped the house, leaving behind a broken family, aching for her abscense. Some people say "get over it". I cant.

Mía was my child, my fur baby, my daughter, even if people try to laugh at it. Mía was my biggest love, my best friend and the best of companies. I dream of her every night, and cant wait for the day i can kiss her little nose again...

I love you to heaven and back my sweet baby. Mommy loves you so so much.
