Memories of Lyle "Dude"
1/7/18: After 44 years of owning animals, this was the first time I had to make that decision. You weren't able to breathe, your quality of life left us several days prior. I prayed you lived through the holidays and my birthday, and you did. New Years Eve I knew it wouldn't be long. On Jan. 2nd I came home from work and you tried your hardest to greet me at the door...you fell over and I knew I could not let you suffer any longer. I truly believe you also were trying to tell me it was time. Thankfully, we have a wonderful vet who would later meet us after hours at the office. At 8:45 pm you were gone, the sedative was enough you were so sick. I'm so happy I was with you on your journey to the Bridge and even happier to have had you in our lives for almost 14 years. You were an awesome, one of a kind cat, Dude. We will NEVER forget you, EVER! I hope you're happy, pain free, and running with your brother Honkey, sister Gina, and your very big sister Stormy Blue. Until we see you again, run free! Love you always, mommy & daddy xoxo
1/2/19: I can't believe its been one year tonight. Seems like yesterday you were just a bottle fed feral suckling on my earlobes. After you left us, Max soon followed in May, I hope you two are happily playing and not fighting. I love you Dude, and I miss you more every day. Looking forward to the day i get to squeeze you once again. Happy New Year, love you, mommy. xoxo 💔
