To know Luna was to love her! She was a friendly but regal dog. She was open to love at all times. She supported all of us in musical endeavors and even slept under the piano while I performed concerts. She patiently waited for me to teach music classes or to write my dreams in my books for hours in the coffee shop- and then we would walk for hours around town. We went on many adventurea...upstate to studio sessions, to the Jersey Shore, on tour to the midwest, to Boston,NYC, Brooklyn , Ohio, Philly, DC- she attended concerts and rehearsals and brightened the world of all who met her. Her gentle soul enjoyed relaxing at home the most- she was quite content to sleep near us or on us...She was an agile dog who enjoyed (in her younger years) running away and sprinting around the neighborhood with the red fox who loved her! She would balance easily on the paddle board with me and she could swim very fast... All of these fun qualities made her my very best friend and fun sports and intellectual companion. I told her all my secrets, my dreams, my goals...and for all I strived to give to her my very best care that was in my power to give. I thank you for our very special love for these 17 years and for getting me through the difficult times and helping me live in the moment with you. I really enjoyed every single day in these last years especially- with you riding in the front seat for our daily adventures to the gym, the park, the river, the shore, and the lake! I especially bless you for being our animal support dog on our concerts and for helping me be less nervous on our concerts. I thank you for waiting patiently for us to perform and for being there to cuddle in the hotel room on tours or you'd be at home waiting for us. You were sunshine in a furry black and tan package. I will soon record and perform Song for Luna and I truly hope that the world will enjoy feeling your cute adorable spirit in our song... I love you sweet Luna, as my dearest daughter as you are my dear animal soul mate and methuselah dog angel. I give you eternal unconditional love and respect my precious Luna- and so does Daddy. I wait to see you and Mr Chan, Ming and Eval...mom and dad...Wayne...very soon. I love you always in my heart.
