Memories of Lucky
Lucky came to us as an abandoned puppy at 3 months old. As a puppy he was very mischeivious and playful. He almost got kicked out of his puppy class for playing too much. He loved people and other dogs. He was always the center of attention. At 2 years old we brought home his 8 week old sister Callie. They became instant friends. They were inseparable even though Callie had a tendancy to annoy him, he still loved her. Lucky was the most lovable dog. He always wanted to play and he loved to snuggle up with his us. He also enjoyed swimming with his daddy. Lucky's favorite treats were Milkbones and Chunk Cheese. He could hear a cheese wrapper from a mile away. He also enjoyed his cup of "coffee" (which was really milk, but we didn't tell him) every morning. He loved to spend hours outside playing or just laying down. In the summer, he enjoyed playing in his swimming pool and the occasional ice cream.

Lucky touched so many people in our lives...everyone loved him, family & friends. He was spoiled rotten by all. His great Aunt Lauren gave him a million treats and he knew exactly what he had to do to get her to give him a cookie....nothing, just look cute. His grandpa RB always came to visit, but when Lucky had enough, he would tell him...barking at him as if to say, go home, I have to go to sleep. Lucky loved the ladies...Abby was his favorite girl. When we came home from vacation, Lucky didn't care we were home, he wondered where Abby went. He loved when she would come around. Ilona was also a favorite of Lucky's, he was her "handsome boy." Grandma Judy was also around a lot....thanks to her Lucky was taught to be out of his cage when we were on vacation. His great Uncle Dale would play with him when he would come over and thanks to him, we have this wonderful page to dedicate to Lucky's life.

About a year ago things changed....Lucky began to get arthritis and his back legs were giving out on him. It eventually got worse and we wore out our options. We had to make the tough, but right decision to put Lucky to peace on March 19th. Now he can run and play again. He is up in heaven with Hayley, & Rocky. I know they are showing him the ropes.
