Memories of Louie Marlowe-Carr
Louie (aka Lucifer) was found as a kitten in a trash bin outside of a Toluca Lake restaurant and was brought home by Hal & Claudia Marlowe in 1987 where he was loved and cherished for many years. Joe Crem gave him the nickname of "The Colonel." Louie loved to roam the neighborhood but would immediately come running to Hal's bellow of "LUCIFER!" After the death of Claudia, Louie lived in 2 different homes with Hal, providing much comfort and love during the last stages of Hal's life. Even at the time of Hal's last breath, Louie was right by his side, ever a faithful companion.

Louie came to live with Lisa and John Carr on 6/24/03 and stayed until his death on 9/4/07. Louie loved to go in and out the doggie door and enjoyed relaxing on the deck. His ears were the recipients of frequent baths by Shira, our Labrador Retriever, who could be found sleeping side by side next to him on many a night. Louie seemed to truly appreciate her motherly attention.

Louie will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He touched many lives with his magnificent and graceful presence. We will always love and remember him.
