My beautiful girl Lilyan (Lily) The first time I saw you I noticed a widow's peak on your forehead and told you that you remind me of Eddie Munster. You were only 8 weeks old and I loved you instantly. What can you say about your best friend, confident, loving companion, my everything? We loved watching you attack a box no matter the size. Would put a toy or treat inside and when you were through it was a pile to be recycled. We went for walks and rides. You were happy to be together. At night you slept with me. You would get in my face and hair telling me time to wake up and be with you. Your sister Katie came to live with us. It was discovered you and Katie were diabetic. Katie wasn't as strong as you and we lost her March 2008. We were both heartbroken. We bid her good bye and she went to Rainbow Bridge waiting for you and I to one day join her. You had ups and downs with the diabetes but we always got it back under control. As you got older, cataracts blurred your vision. I could see you getting older. You were getting gray hairs but so was I. Wanted to turn back the clock so I could have more time with you. As more years went by you developed seizures. Those scared me so badly. Got you on medicine and that worked for awhile. Then my world fell apart when the seizures came more often. I had to let you go so you would no longer suffer. I love you so much my baby girl. Grandma passed the day before you so my heart was already broken and I don't think it will heal anytime soon. You meant the world to me. I cry every day missing you. You and Katie will always be in my heart. Until we meet again my little Lily, be happy, loves and kisses to you. Remember Dog spelled backward is God. Love always Forever in my heart Love you Mom Please also visit Bella Blue and Katie. |
