My sweetest Lacy girl, My first rescue, who saved me from my broken heart in 2020 after losing Genie. We bonded instantly and were inseparable. During our 6 1/2 years together we only spent one night apart, and it's so hard to get in bed without you snuggled up next to me. Your sweet tiny body is no longer there for me to give all of my love to. Grief is love that still has its familiar place to go, but suddenly can't for reach the one it was meant for. I miss you tremendously, you were such a huge part of my life, really the center of it. I'm thankful we were able to say goodbye at our home, with you wrapped in your blanket against my heartbeat. I miss you terribly.
