Welcome to KatyAnn Meguiar's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of KatyAnn Meguiar
I will never forget the day that we brought KatyAnn home. She was snuggled up against me on that car ride home and I knew without a doubt that she and I would be the best of friends. She was a skinny little dog with shaggy thin white hair that looked messy and had big brown eyes. She was easy to train and always wanting to be by my side. She loved her stuffed animals and bones. She loved to be petted and really loved treats. She loved her walks and to go in the the car. She loved ripping up Christmas wrapping paper at Christmas time and loved ripping paper at any time. She hated when we would leave the house but would greet us with lots of kisses and then bark at us as if she were saying why did you leave me. As time went by and Katy got older our bond grew even stronger as she became very ill with Diabetes and then Chronic bouts of Pancreatitis. She had more visits to the vet than most dogs do throughout their lives but she was a fighter and stayed with us up until the age of 14. Her little body could not take anymore and I knew it was time to say goodbye to my best friend. She passed away on October 6, 2016 in our home with our vet by her side. She was the sweetest and gentlest of dogs and is truly very missed. I loved her more than any dog I have ever owned and the grieving has been very difficult. I know she went to a better place where she can run and play with other dogs who have lost their owners. No more sickness and no more trips to the vet. We miss you and love you KatyAnn. One day we will meet again.😍
