Memories of Josie Oatman
Josie Oatman blessed our home in 2004 when we met her at the animal shelter! She gave our family more blessings then I ever imagined a dog could. She was a best friend to two cats, our two children and certainly the model "child" to my husband and me! She was very protective of our children and wasn't hesitant to step in if she ever felt any family member was being threatened in any way. She wanted to be a part of everything all the time. If the kids were outside riding bikes, shooting basketball, or jumping on the trampoline, she was there. She loved going for hikes through the woods and could never resist the water if lucky enough to find some in the creeks! She lived a blessed life and seemed forever grateful as if she remembered where she came from or what "life" could have been.....
The hardest part about traveling was always leaving her behind and was the best part about returning home! Josie was the nucleus of our home. In the last two years of Josie's life, she was slowing down. Hills were harder to climb, walks got shorter and shorter, and the final days were pretty rough. We are focusing on what a wonderful life she lived and the bountiful blessings she gave us.

Josie Oatman, the most loyal and loving dog we've know. We love you dearly and miss you terribly.

GOD BLESS YOUR SOUL!
