Memories of Jo-Jo
I remember the day i found you.....you were a newly born kitten, and your Mom died shortly after giving birth. You had two siblings that were taken but you were left. I took you home thinking i would take care of you until you were strong enough to be on your own. I brought you to the vet and he found that you had been born with a crooked tongue. He was unsure whether you would be able to survive if it hindered you from being able to eat.
As the days went by, you became stronger and we learned that you could indeed eat.....We welcomed you into our family-you were special. You were introduced to the other residents, your friend Dottie the Dalmation and Riggins the boxer. You really were the boss...You loved to sit in the front picture window and watch all of the beauty outside. You loved to curl up in our laps and at bedtime would crawl under the covers to nestle between us. You could be found in Dad's lap in his recliner watching football on Sundays.

That was 14 and a half years ago. Along the way, we had rescued other furry friends, Jimmy, Jazzy B and Penelope.....Again, you were the boss!! You finally got tired and started to fail, and we knew you were ready for the Rainbow Bridge. We like to think you had a wonderful life - you were loved by all. It was so hard to say goodbye, but in my heart i know you are now at peace, out of pain and probably playing with Dottie and Riggins.....We will always love you Jo and are so grateful that we were able to enjoy your love for so many years!

We will miss and love you always Jo.
