Welcome to Jeter ErBerti's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Jeter ErBerti
Our beloved Jeter came into our lives because God wanted us to love one of his beautiful creatures. He filled our lives with happiness, comfort & unconditional Love. He became a member of our family the moment we first saw him at the dog breeder. He was there for us each & every day. Through all the seasons of the years that he walked, ran & gave kisses to everyone he met, he was well liked by all. His gentleness and friendliness was his most obvious character traits to all he met. Our hearts were broken when we were told by the Vet that Jeter had a terminal disease that would only cause him pain , discomfort & suffering. The hardest decision that we had to make in our lives had become a fact. As I watched the Vet administer the medication that would ease away the pain FOREVER. As Jeter's human life slowly left his fragile body, I cried like a baby. I apologized and asked him to forgive us for ending his dog life on earth. It may have been the humane decision but the site of my dog's life coming to an end will always remain in my mind & heart FOREVER. We think of Jeter each & every day. We have his ashes in a beautiful small brown wooden container that has his picture on the front. His Mommy & I each wear a necklace that contains a tiny portion of his ashes. Each member of our family had a small portion of their heart broken since his passing.I still shed tears whenever I think of him or something that reminds me of him. Hopefully, one day we will meet again. Love FOREVER Mommy, Daddy & family.
