Memories of Jenny
Jenny came to me a puppy ( chocolate lab ) and grew into a beautiful quiet and powerful friend. After the first year I brought Jasper home ( another chocolate lab puppy ). Jenny was laying in the kitchen and Jasper ran to her and tried to suckle. Jenny hopped up and was very surprised. Thus began a friendship that lasted for more than 12 years.
She would greet me at the door with my slippers when I returned home and was always calm and laid back of the pair except when it came to food. She would gobble her food and shoulder Jasper from his dish until we caught on and separated their dishes. When we ate; Jasper would sit next to us always anxious for a taste. Jenny would lay a few yards away quietly waiting while Jasper bugged us for a taste. When we put some in his bowl ( never at the table ) Jenny would hop up and go to her dish and wag her tail.

May 27, 2019 - My beautiful baby, two years have gone by and we still miss you so much. I don't have anyone to bring me my slippers, you were such a doll.
I hope you have met with Jasper and go for walks and play together till we come for the two of you when will never get separated again.
Please come with Jasper to visit us and meet the beautiful Dove Jasper sent us, her name is Mitzy
My darling, we love you.
Mom and Dad
I still wish that I could give you a hug.
I don't visit often because I sit here listening to your song all choked up with tears and I can hardly swallow because of the lump in my throat. I miss you very much!
