Jasmine loved to travel. She flew everywhere with us. She traveled by air, truck and car. She was the best dog ever, she never complained. While we had to work she waited patiently for us daily until we came home. She would sit on the arm of the loveseat and the moment she would see either of us she would jump down and run to the door where she was so excited to see us. |
How can you explain the unconditional love of a dog? My children loved me but they grow up and are independent and move out and make families of their own but a dog depends on you and their enormous love for you is indescribable. The last two weeks of her life I knew it was time. I thought my heart would break. Even as I'm writing this it brings up emotions that I struggle with whenever I think of my precious Jasmine. She was one of a kind. A beautiful soul in a dogs body.
I want to end with a quote from the great Will Rogers, "If there are no dogs in Heaven ,then when I die ,I want to go where they went."
