Memories of Jasmine
02.07.2017 -Hi Jazzy. Mommy still misses you SO Much. I have a new family furry companion and I tell him about you all the time. I wished you a happy birthday, and told him it was your birthday, and he perked up like he has met you before. He reminds me a lot like you. Mommy got him because he has bulldog ancestry and I wanted him to have a personality similar to yours. I wish you could be here with me. I can't wait to see you again. I love you! *****I went to the pet store and asked if they had any English Mastiffs and they said a truck was coming that night. I waited and waited, but it did not arrive. I couldn't bare work the next day, and asked if I could leave to see if you were there. When I got there, I went to the window and there you were. I knew right then I wanted to be your Mommy. We played in the cubicle and I had to wait a few days for you to be ready. I went every day to see you. You would just come to me in the cubicle and sleep in my lap. From that moment on you brought me so much love and joy. You helped me get through so much. I would not be where I am today if it wasn't for you. Mommy has grown so much and you were with me every step of the way. We have moved all over and you made everywhere we lived...a home. You loved to sit in the sun and get full body doggie scratches. We went to the beach and for walks a lot. You slept in the bed and always had to have a part of your body touch mine. Mommy sometimes would tell you to go back to sleep when you woke her up in the middle of the night, but Mommy liked having you near, you made me feel safe and not alone. I love you with all my heart and soul. Mommy is having a really hard time not snuggling you. I have to sleep with Mr. Froggy and I will always have him with me. God knew this move was going to be too much for you since you didn't feel well, and he wanted you to meet My Dad and keep him company. I know my Dad has been patiently waiting for you, but knew Mommy still needed you. God also knew this would be hard for Mommy, that's why Mommy got the new job back in Jacksonville where a lot of our good memories are. I'm going to walk where we used to walk and run races for you. I will also donate time to the Jacksonville Humane Society in your honor. I was working so hard to buy you a home with a backyard, but time went so fast. I will plant you with Mommy's favorite Hibiscus, when she has the yard, so you can be there. Mommy loves you, Jasmine. Thank you for picking me.
