Memories of Howard Wilson Ward
Hey poop, what can we say...we hoped and prayed this day would never come but sadly it did. You gave us 15 years of unconditional love. You were so bad!!! You were fearless!!! You got into everything!!! But, that just made you all the more special! You left us with so many memories...I got home from work the other morning, opened the gate and expected to see you there with Barney and then walk away as if to say, it's okay, it's just mom and then...you'd prance over with your tail wagging as if to say...hey mom's home! I threw a container out into the recycle bin and expected to see you digging it back out just in case there were any scraps left over. Oh baby, you touched so many hearts. Everyone at daddy's work and my work were heartbroken when they found out. They spoke of the videos that I would show them of you. Sweet baby, I'm sorry if we waited too long to let you go but we didn't want to believe that you were leaving us. I know that you are young again as are your brothers, Ralph and Scooby. I can see you all running and playing and barking. I can definitely see you causing havoc, lol. That's okay baby, you keep them on their toes, just like you did here! Barney misses you terribly. We miss rubbing your bum as you slept with your head on the pillow, under the quilt. Rest in peace precious one! Like I tell Scooby and Ralph...one day we will all be together, I promise! Believe!!!
