Memories of Holly Berry
Holly joined my family in December 1999 as a companion pet for my other kitty, Tiger Lily. Although Holly was a feral cat and sick when she first arrived from the animal shelter, I could tell there was something special about her. It took almost a year of teaching Holly how to play and be petted before her true sweet personality started to shine through. Over the years, Holly let me in little by little and trusted me more each day. She had even started following me around to every room I went to. I'm greatful for that love and trust she shared with me. I will miss our special times of lettuce treats, quiet meows, brushing one side and then the other, and laser pointer playtime. Holly had a beautiful, graceful style that showed whether she was chasing Lily or sitting watching me. I'll miss watching Holly and Lily curled up peacefully napping together. But I know Holly is out of pain and happily enjoying her heavenly environment. Thank you for being my kitty friend. Holly will always be in my heart!

2/10/07 -- It's been one year since Holly's been gone. I still miss her. But now I can smile more when I remember all the good things about her. I'm so very grateful for the joy she brought into my life. I'll never forget her and I know I'll see her again.

1/10/09 -- I still think about Holly and miss my little friend. I keep a picture by my computer that makes me smile each day. I have a new kitty named Rosie now that looks similar to Holly...and I'll admit I called her Holly several times when I first got her! But there's no other kitty like Holly. She was special and continues to have a special place in my heart.

2/1/12 -- I'm thinking about you today Holly. I saw some pictures of you eating lettuce and it made me smile. Thank you for being a great friend.

1/26/13 -- Lily and I have been missing you, Holly. Lily still will not be too friendly with Rosie. I know she misses snuggling with you on cold mornings. I hope you are enjoying playing with Tiger and Mamma Dulce.

1/24/15 -- Holly I saw your picture the other day and remembered how sweet you are. Thank you for the happy memories. Lily and I still miss you. Hope you are happy with Tiger and Mamma Dulce.
