Welcome to Harley's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Harley
Harley caught my eye when I arrived at our local shelter. Small, fluffy and playful. When I brought her home, she instantly blended in as if she belonged there. She loved all the other cats and dogs we had. Never was afraid of them. The only way you could find her in the house was her collar. Just call her name and listen for a jingle. Sadly, not long after we brought her home, she began acting as if she couldn't see well. A few weeks passed and she began to have trouble walking. I took her to the vet and it turned out she had a rare disease they acquire from shelters. We had not caught it in time and the doctor recommended we put her to sleep. It was hard but I didn't want her to suffer anymore. She's with the other fur babies we've lost in heaven now.
