Harley was a very loyal and loving family member who just wanted to play and make everyone around him happy. He loved his treats, cold chicken from the deli, turkey on Thanksgiving, a fruit loop every once in a while, and of course a cookie with his buddy Bowie! He loved playing tug of war and his favorite toy was his squeaky ball. He loved opening presents, would speak when asked to, if you said the word squirrel or bird he would run to the door, and the dust buster was his enemy every time! As he got older those things diminished, well except for the food part. However, he still loved to please and make everyone around him feel happy and loved. Through the years he accepted the babies and would sit by them and guard them. They loved him just as much. He became their loyal friend who they consider their brother. To me he was my constant. He was always by my side and even through hard times made me feel needed and loved. He was my best friend and I was lucky to have him in my life for thirteen wonderful years. I will cherish every memory, every lick, every cuddle that I ever had with him. |
