Ginny was the sweetest and most loveable companion. She was always there with a kiss and snuggle. Her mate Chiquito loved her dearly and took care of her daily. Ginny was loved by so many people and got to spend her last Christmas with my mom and sister. How grateful I am for that! Ginny died after a very short illness that made her weak on one side and which culminated in a blood clot in her lungs. She died the same day as my uncle's funeral and I was out of town. My pet sitter Donna took her to the vet when she refused food. Ginny loved Donna and would perk up when I said her name. And boy did she love to eat! She would gobble her food up so fast that I had to try numerous methods to get her to slow down. I finally found a great method for feeding her by mixing her kibble with water in a food processor. She loved it! |
Ginny was like my baby and I carried her around in my jacket when she was a puppy. Her baby teeth did not fall out so she had to have them removed. She also had 2 pregnancies which resulted in one still birth puppy each time. Ginny just kept on being there and sweet through it all. She went through 2 relationships with me and many moves. She also loved cucumbers and would get excited when I made my "Sunday" salad. It's been a month since she died and I feel so lost without her. Run without pain or fear my sweet girl! I will love you forever!
