Memories of Georgia
November, 2016 I rescued my second cocker spaniel. When she was brought to my, I opened my front door and saw the sweetest, gentle cocker spaniel. She had such a delicate nature, but could be so stubborn. I could see quickly she was happy to have a home. After a week, she was accepting of my love and she soon became confident and secure.

Georgia was such a pleasure.

We enjoyed walks, car rides and she loved my Boxwoods. She was so smart! I loved her high five's, running after a ball and she learned so fast with her trainer. She reminded me of a gentle soul who didn't ask for much and was happy to be loved and cared for.

Everyone who met Georgia loved her. She was sweet and kind to everyone. I loved making time for her to cuddle, lots of pets, belly rubs and kisses on the nose. It was wonderful picking her up and holding her close. Georgia was also the great consoler. Always following me and sleeping on the floor beside me. One of the many wonderful memories I will cherish is how much she loved the front porch out on the steps, setting and enjoying the sunshine. She loved the outdoors. Sometimes when I was gone, my front door would pop open; it never failed, there would be Georgia lying in the sunlight on the front porch.

My heart is so full of love knowing she will be with Honeydew again. They were two black cockers with beautiful skirts, and were fun to watch.

The sweet quiet nature of Georgia will be missed.
