When Joe and I picked you up that very first day we knew you were a keeper. You fit into the palm of my hand and we instantly fell in love with you. You were full of energy and you and Joe (My Son) grew up together. We thought we were going to lose you the first month as you got very ill, but with the help of the vet, we nursed you back to health. You rewarded us with unconditional love and loyalty. You always talked and had a wonderful demeanor. You loved to play with your toys and was always hiding in a cardboard box or the old couch you had dug a hole into the fabric. When anyone would open the refrigerator, you would jump in it and sit on the bottom level. We always laughed so hard when you did that. You were with me through the darkest moments of my life and loved me regardless of what was going on and I thank you for all of your love. You touched many people with your love and they loved you right back. You have been gone one week now and I look for you all the time. We have a little shrine at your favorite window with a picture of you and your ashes. You are here with us forever now, but I am extremely heartbroken without you. I thank god for you being in our lives and the fact that I could care for you when you got sick. Even when you were passing, you were giving me love and purring. Thank you for all of your gifts and lessons you taught me through the years. Joe, Tina, Lori, Alec and of course me(your dad)will always love and miss you. May you rest in peace my wonderful Geebs.
