When I picked my sweetie up I was scared to death wondering if I could do it and I found out I could. We had a rough First year because he came with a back broken leg which I had fixed that week. We did our therapy all ended fine. Then he got bit on foot by a bee a foot swelled a lot and he was lethargic. Called vet and he told me to give antihistamines. Did and a few hours he was ok. Then hid back right lag got broke because of me, had if fixed again but what a year it was.... He ran around tables like a bullet it was so fast. He was a happy guy and loved my dad. I loved him with all my heart. He go to be 16. The shelter told me when I left "HE WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE FOREVER" and boy did he.... Miss him every day.
