Memories of Dynomite
Dynomite was a black holland lop who lived to be 7.5 years old before he unexpectedly crossed over the rainbow bridge while anesthesized for an ear surgery that he really needed to have. He was healthy most of his life and lived life to the fullest. He was a free roam bunny. Him and I bonded immediately when I brought him home at only 8 weeks old. He followed me everywhere and was very protective and jealous. He didnt want to share me with anyone. He was there for me thru all my good and bad times, especially after losing his younger brother Angel Pancake, who only crossed over 4 months ago. I had such a different bond with Dynomite than i did with Pancake. Both very special, but very different. Dynomite started to develop an ear infection a few months ago. was put on antibiotics and ear gel meds as well. He was even put on penicillin injections to see if it would clear. He needed surgery but it was put on hold because I needed surgery as well and we hoped the meds would help and hold him over for a few weeks. We were too late. The infection had spread to his facial nerve and eye. I feel so guilty for not doing the surgery sooner. He was my best friend and I miss him so so much. It hurts like hell. He was bonded to Bella Storm, who is my youngest bunny. She loved Dynomite so much. She only trusted him and felt safe with him. Now she feels alone and confused. The house isnt the same without my puppy bunny. He was my boy and will always be my boy. I miss him following him everywhere and begging for treats and giving me kisses on my hand and forehead. I never met a more loving animal in my life. I wish i could bring him back. I just hope he is reunited with his brother Pancake and is looking over us. Dynomite also had this pink ball that he has had since a baby that he would groom daily. We called her "Sheila." He did binkies all day and night and loved his dandelion and cilantro. Bananas and watermelon were his favorite. I still see him everywhere I look. Everything reminds me of him. There will never be another Dynomite. I will love you forever and ever my Angel boy. Thank you for always being there for me thru everything. I feel so blessed to call you your mommy. Thank you for loving me so much. I will never forget you. Please visit me in my dreams and give me signs that you are still here with me. Till we meet again my sweet Dynomite.
