Dickens was special as soon as he appeared in our lives. A scared, mangey, puppy came through our door. He blossomed into a wonderful, intelligent, sensitive, brave, playful, loving companion. A truer friend could not be found. He was a puppy until the day he died, his courage was amazing, and he died with dignity. There will never be another like him in our lifetime. Dickens, we know that you will be waiting for us. Toby and Gracie miss you. DEAR DICKENS, we all miss you. It has been over a year, and the loss of you is still almost unbearable. We see your sweet, quirky, smiling face and your zest for life in all of your pictures and in our memories. We think about you every day.|
WE WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER.
The second Christmas without you is almost here. Tony & Gracie would love to open presents with you, and a whole year without you is really hard to bear. Toby is doing a good job of filling in for you, but it's not quite the same. We will all be together someday. Merry Christmas, dear boy.
It's now January and it has snowed outside. We remember how you loved to catch the snowflakes as they were falling. So many wonderful memories of you. Toby and Gracie miss you along with us. We will see you again some day.
The leaves will soon be changing colors, Dickens, and we miss you so. In 2 weeks it will be 2 years since you left us. Gracie joined you on Mother's Day and I am sure that you were there to greet her, and play with her at the Rainbow Bridge. You 2 always had so much fun playing together. Toby is still sad and lonely because he misses his 2 best friends. We are too. Remember that we will see you again someday, so don't forget us. We love you both, Princess Grace and Mr. Dickens.
