Memories of Daisy Mae Pagoria
The day i decided that I wanted a puppy i had know idea what kind of breed to choose from so i went to a pet store and started looking at books, and that's where I read about the Maltese breed.I was so fascinated by the breed that I started looking.I found a breeder that was in our area and drove out to see his puppies. You kept following me around which all the other puppies were either afraid or were nipping at my ankles but you just followed me around that it was instant LOVE at first sight.I came home and asked Jimmy to go for a ride to see something but didn't want to say puppies as it was hard to convince him about bringing a puppy into our home.Jimmy thought a puppy would wreck the house but you proved him wrong. We got to get you and you were the BEST puppy ever. You were house trained quickly and was very loyal. You made our house a home with all your playfulness. Then years later we thought you needed a friend so we looked around and found another breeder and brought home Sophie. Now that was another story!Sophie wanted to play and bother you and you wanted nothing to do with her so you would go up in the loft and look down at her because Sophie had not figured out how to get up there like yo did UNTIL one day when you went upstairs, she followed! I could see in your cute little face that you did not like this so you gave Sophie a swat with your paw and that day Miss Sophie knew you were Boss. From that day on you two were buddies. You loved to get dressed up for special occasions.Your Halloween costume with your little pumpkin head and Sophie the little devil costume. You two would sit by the front door and wait for all the little kids make a fuss over the both of you. Your were a big "sister" to Sophie and the two of you were always together. You love the Christmas season because after the tree got up and decorated you would lie under the tree with all the lights on and take a snooze,it was like you were waiting for SANTA to bring you some goodie because you were a good little puppy all year long.I knew this day would come but never wanted it to but never wanted you to leave us by yourself.I'm thankful for all the wonderful memories that you left us with and am thankful that we were with you my sweet baby Daisy until the end.So go play and have fun with all your new friends and we will see you at the END of the Rainbow!! Love you and miss you dearly....Your Mommy and Daddy and Sophie.
