Cici was a rescue, who took some time to give her trust to us, but when she did, she was a sweet, loving cat. Cici was definitely a one-person cat, and I'm so grateful she chose me. She was a great lap cat, who greeted you with a chirp when you walked in the room. She loved her Greenies, and would come running when she heard the bag open. She had an unexplainable love of suede shoes, and loved to rub her face on my Puma Suede athletic shoes when ever she had chance, or she'd sit on top of them if I left them out....it was so funny to see her perched on them. She left me too early, and while we weren't certain of her age, she was getting up in years. I'm so grateful for the time she enriched our lives. She'll be missed.|
It's been four days since CiCi crossed the bridge. I'm still saddened by her departure, but I have so many happy memories of her to help ease my sorrow. Looking back on how much she enriched my life, I'm so very grateful for everyday I had with her. My thanks to those of you who have expressed sympathy, sent cards or gifts to her her.
I added one of my favorite pics of CiCi today. As I mentioned above, she loved her Greenies, and suede shoes....the Greenies are prefectly understandable. Suede shores are another matter....she loved to rub her face on them, and sit on them. It still brings a smile to my face, and I laugh a little when I look at the pic of her on my Puma Suedes....sweet girl!!
It's been almost a year since CiCi crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I've always heard time heals all, but I still miss her so. I'm grateful for the fond memories I still have of her, but I miss her chirps when she greeted me, and her nestling in my lap, especially on cold winter nights.
Well, it's been a year, my sweet little girl. I miss you so....
