Welcome to Cheyenne's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Cheyenne
I rescued Cheyenne from the ASPCA 11 years ago, but it turns out that she actually rescued me. She was always a quiet lady who loved to play with her toys that I would throw and she would fetch them. She liked to snuggle with you and loved to be hugged. Every day she got her afternoon treat of a chewy (Busy Bone) and in the evening she liked her treat of Dogsters (doggie ice cream). At bedtime she got 4 tiny cookies then when I told her it was time to say our prayers she would lay down beside my bed, put her paws in front of her, cross her paws and bow her head until I was finished saying our prayers. Then I would say "goodnight Cheyenne, mommie loves you my pretty girl", and she would go into the bathroom and sleep in the shower area on the tile floor. She lived with me and my other dog, a lab/aussie mix, who is also grieving her loss. My heart is completely broken and long for the day I will see her again. I miss her so very much but she will always reside in my heart. Thanks for the beautiful memories, Cheyenne. Mommie loves you my pretty girl.|
Cheyenne, just wanted you to know it's very hard being without you. Thunder is very sad and misses you too. He doesn't seem to know what to do with himself and just lays around looking very sad. I can't wait until I can pick you up from the Vet's office and bring you home. I think that will make me feel a little better. I have a special place for you where we can see you everyday. I know you are well again and happily playing, running, and enjoying the other fur babies that are with you. Once in a while let me know you are OK. I will always love you my pretty girl. Love and kisses, Mommy.
Good Morning Cheyenne. I picked you up from the vet last Tuesday 3/25/14 about noon. You now have a special place on the mantel where I can see you every day. I feel a little better knowing you are home with us again. You are always in my thoughts and prayers, and will miss you until I can be with you again. Have fun playing with your new friends in the meadow. Don't forget to smell the flowers. Thunder and I are doing OK, all things considered, but it isn't anything like having you playing with him and giving me your sweet kisses. Love you and miss you so much my pretty girl. Love always, Mommy.
