Welcome to Chauncey's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Chauncey
Chauncey came into our life jumping up in his pen as if to say "take me" and we did. He left us on New Years Eve 2005 with a thud and a "Yip" when he ran into our car in the driveway of our home. In between he gave us 15 and a half years of companionship and unconditional love. Although we have had many other pets, he will never be forgotten. Chauncey was and will always be #1 in our hearts. So many things about him were unique, from his love of taco meat with lots of garlic, to his special ability to know when a Tuna can was being opened as he also had a special affinity for a taste of tuna. He favorite place to be was with us and he never tired of being with us. He also loved his dog cookies at night and would happily run to bed with one in his mouth and would patiently wait for the others to come. Chauncey is survived by good friends Jackie, Sue & Harriet. and his very special pet sitter Betty. God Speed Chauncey, we look forward to meeting you at Rainbows Bridge. He has been joined at the bridge by his Grandfather Howard and his cat friends Gigi & Forrest. He has 2 new brothers Tino and Chaz that have joined the family since he left. They like tacos too.
