Memories of Carla
Carla had the biggest personality. She commanded attention from everyone and made her presence known. My fondest memory is from the day she permanently scarred my husband. He and I had just moved in together and she was getting used to having him in her space. One afternoon she sat on the barstool in the kitchen patiently waiting for him to get home from work. He came in and walked right past her, much to her offense. She reached a paw out and swiped his arm with her claws. He immediately started bleeding...a wound that took a long time to heal resulting in a raised scar on his upper arm. Never to be ignored again.
She always made an impression. Loved my parents. Loved her pickle and her knife. She enjoyed sitting in her tree stand on the patio. Carla hated car rides and loud noises. She was obsessed with treats and the occasional bite of a donut. We hugged her for as much as she allowed. She was amazing. She was our baby kitten.
