Buffy was love at first sight. On the day I adopted her I had an overwhelming feeling of joy and I knew in my heart that we were meant to be. From that day forward we were the best of friends. We truly recued each other. Our days together were filled with smiles, walks, play, and Buffy kisses. |
We took adventures together. Our favorite adventures were trips to the beach, park, lake, meadow, flower fields, pumpkin patches, dog bakeries, dog friendly restaurants, city attractions, mountains, and desert.
We cuddled together. Our fondest moments were curling up together while watching a silly movie, watching a sunset, enjoying nature, creating crafts, and just simply being together.
I will never forget the way Buffy would contribute to my crafting projests. When I laid out my sewing patterns or no sew blankets on the floor for mesurments and assembling she was there for quality assurance. Her job was either to walk across the project, roll around on them, or create a bed out of them. When I was crocheting or knitting she was always by my side. Almost all the time she would love to get involved with the project. She loved to dig at the yarn and create a cute messy pile.
Cooking was Buffy's favorite time of day. Her favorite dish was roteserri chiken. Tasty treats that were her absolute favorite were pumpkin, peas, carrots, watermelon, and cookies and cakes from the dog bakery.
Thanksgiving was her favorite holiday because she loved helping me cook the turkey and watching my every move. She was the best taste tester.
On the day I lost Buffy I had an overwhelming felling of sadness. I know she is in a wonderful place. From this day forward she will always be in my heart. Buffy is truly missed.
I love you Buffy.
