Welcome to Bubba's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Bubba
Bubba was a Saint Bernard that came to live with us when he was two. On Oct. 12 2006 he went to Rainbow bridge. He gave us 10 wonderful years. He tried not to give up but was just so tired. He slowed down a lot in the last year. We knew the day would come. It did and we were devastated. We are now left with lots of photos and so many memories. We will miss how he used to come from wherever he was to greet us no matter how many times we left and came back in the same day. Many nites he would sleep outside usually under our bedroom window. In the morning when I would let him in he would go into our bedroom and wake my wife up. She misses that. She also misses him helping feed the chickens and how he always helped himself t an egg from one of the nest boxes. There is a mark in the basement wall where he used to lay up against it. I doubt we will ever clean it off. I don't know if I'll ever be able to fill the few holes he dug around the yard especially the one under our bedroom window. I'm sure there is another Saint Bernard in our future. We still have one and are thankful for that. We will never forget Bubba that's for sure. 12/14 Today is your birthday.
