Brutus came to us from our local animal shelter and brought us more joy and happiness than we can say. He loved his sister Gypsy, his Nana, and all of his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. I first saw his picture on the SPCA website and it was love at first sight. He always protected me and was my constant companion. Wherever I was you could be sure Brutie would be close by. He protected his big sister Gypsy when his dad and I were at work.|
When we would come home he was always there to greet us with a wagging tail and occasionally some "Brutie kisses". He got his second nickname "Boo-Boo" on one Halloween and it just stuck.
He loved parties, people, and when he was young ripping up anything made of paper. His favorite for some reason was Kleenex. So much that he would steal them straight from the box if you didn't watch him. His favorite foods were his Kibble and wet food and for a treat White American cheese and bologna.
His dislikes were fireworks, thunderstorms, and wouldn't eat anything green. He was very protective of me and would let people know very quickly if he thought they were getting too close to me.
Brutus was more than a dog. He was a best friend and a son to us. When he got sick last week and the vet said there was nothing they could do it was the hardest decision of of our lives to let him go. We held him until the end and told him what a good boy he was and that we would always love him. We gave him lots of hugs and kisses and told him it was okay to let go and that we would see him again one day on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge.
