Welcome to Bombadil's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Bombadil
My Big Bomboo! You were the sweetest, gentlest, most lovable boy I have ever known. I hated to let you go but your suffering was too much and I couldn't keep you going to service my own selfish purposes. The pictures... from your puppyhood, laughing joyous adolescence, affectionate adulthood and slow decline into old age bear witness to the loving and lovable being you always were. The last picture, taken before the final journey to the vet, reveal that you were tired and though your wanted to hang on to love me, that you were ready to let go and join all of the pups in the land where you frolic until I can join you when my race is run. I so look forward to the day when we will meet again and I can hold you in my arms while you kiss me slap on the mouth! I have never felt such grief as that I have felt in the few days since you have been gone and I treasure it as a sign of the profound love you generated in me, my sweet boy!
