A short bio on the Billy Poopers...|
I got Billy Poopers from an animal shelter in Grand Island, Nebraska, 17 years ago. He fit into the palm of my hand. He was so scared, he hid from me for two days before finally crawling into bed with me one night and that is where he slept (for better or worse) in bed with me every night for the next 17 years. Tonight will be the first night he sleeps not in my bed, but at Rainbow Bridge. (Aug. 20, 2008)
Billy Poopers moved with me across the country from Nebraska to Arizona to Virginia to California and back to Arizona. He has lived with me at 10 different addresses in his lifetime, traveled via car and plane (on the plane and underneath my seat of course) and has lived with three dogs and two other cats as his brothers and sisters. He has also lived with a couple of my boyfriends, but that is a story for another time :-)
Billy was old, he had gotten very frail and I think he grew tired at the end. I am so sad by his loss. The Nofer household is not the same.
Farewell Billy Poopers; I love you and I will miss you so very much. You now join your sister Biggins at Rainbow Bridge - which just became a more beautiful place owing to your presence.
God bless Billy Poopers, Biggins and all of their friends at Rainbow Bridge.
