Welcome to Benson Mullins's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Benson Mullins
Benson was the happiest most lovable dog you could ever meet. He loved being around people, always smiling and ready for a hug. He had eyes and a smile that would melt your heart. I loved how his mouth would quiver with anticipation at getting a cookie or better yet, some of your meal, which of course we always obliged. Who could resist. One of the funniest memories I have of my Benny was when I made a roast beef sandwich for my husband and set it on the end table. Few minutes later my husband asked me if I was mad it him. I answered no, why? Well Benaon had jumped on the couch, took the top piece of bread off the sandwich, ate the roast beef and then took off. So all my husband saw was a piece of bread on the floor and another on the plate. We still laugh about that. Another time I made a small plate of nachos, set the plate on a end table and walked away for a second. That little baby jumped on the couch and stood there craning his head to watch me and make sure I left the room. But I fooled him and turned around quickly. The look on his little face was hysterical. Of course I gave him a few chips. He was 6 months old when we found him at Animal Rescue Force (ARF). We had 2 other dogs at the time and the 3 of them just lived to play together. Benny was my last baby and my heart is breaking without him. In the last few months he was getting tired and weak. I know now he is running around with his brothers just like he is 6 months old again. I will miss Benny forever but will see them all again someday. Love You Always Benson! Mommy
