Memories of Bear
Bear came into my life in April of 2000 at the age of 3 1/2 from his owner at that time in PA. He was dirty, had green teeth and just looked dazed. After 2 days of not eating he finally started to come back to himself and never looked back. He loved the dog show ring and had a ball. He finished his AKC title in Sept.2000 and his UKC Grand CH title the same year. He was on Fox news before the Kennel club of Phila.show, won the Westminster KC BOB in 2003. He was on the Today Show on Thanksgiving day 2003. He was invited 3 times to the AKC Eukanuba National Invitational in FL,was in the UKC Top 10 3 years in a row.

I had the privlege of getting to know his breeder Sue Houck,of Sujo Kennels in MI.
She and I became good friends and she was very proud of her little guy! Although she is gone too I know she met Bear at the Bridge and is looking after him for me. Love you, Sue.

But most importantly he is and was my best dog friend and my canine soulmate. He loved to travel, didn't mind flying under the seat in front of me on a plane and being loved by everyone who met him. He produced beautiful pups and his progeny will continue on...

Bear gave me my life back on many levels and I think I gave his back to him.

I love you Baby Bear. You will be missed every second I have left on this earth.

Please wait for me at the Bridge.

All my love, Mom
