Memories of BABY
Baby our St Bernard was with us for a short 12 3/4years. She was the love of our lives. She had a blessed life, she knew everyone and everyone knew her. Baby was a Pet Assisted Therapy dog for over 10 years. She put more smiles on the faces of the very young, as well as, the elderly. Baby always knew what people wanted. WE were blessed to have Baby. SHE TAUGHT US SO MUCH..She had a zest for life that was so very contagious. She loved her family with every cell in her.Mommy took her everywhere and taught her about life. Daddy taught her the finer things in life...all about FOOD..and how to act around BOYS. Sherri, her human sister, was her roommate for a short few months. They both learned the art of playing and having fun.Ricki, her other human sister and Josh her husband --our son, ,Lexi, and Sadie(their kids) were the rest of her family that she loved dearly. Lexi and Sadie, although very young, always came with the kisses and the cookies for Baby.Ricki always was there with help and to give us support when we needed it with Baby. Josh, god bless him, always with the camera, Baby got to pose and many invaluable pctures were captured. Those memories we will always have. Craig was another friend that was always there to help out. At the end,Craig helped lift her beautiful 110 lb body to go on outings. As for her fur siblings...first and formost was Buggy, the rat terrier, that was there from the beginning. Beek was her YOUNGER cousin, an English Mastif, more her size. For the last 6 months, Baby had a younger brother,Teddy, another St Bernard. He was a good brother, always knew who was the boss...BABY, of course!! A few of her siblings are with her now in Rainbow Bridge,Star,Teddy, Christy, Sammy and Bailey. Her love, Rocky, a Mastiff, is there with her, also. She had dignity, strength and at the end such courage. Baby lost the use of her hind legs for the past few months. She had "her angel on earth" build her a rehab unit, "BABY S.T.E.P.S.", that kept her alive. Matt was more than her "Personal Trainer"-He was her best friend. She loved him so much, as he, loved her. She worked hard exercising till the very end. Baby, I know that you had to leave us, but it is so hard to let you go.Our hearts are broken and feel as though they will never heal. We have to find the strength,to know that you are in a better place and we will meet again....We Love you forever and a day....Mommy and Daddy
