Memories of Axon II
Axon was the most lovable, funny and smartest furry baby I have had. He was taken too soon and to compound my grief I was thousands of miles away when I had to make the agonizing decision to let him go. I hope you know Axon that I would have been there to comfort you and scratched your ears one last time if it were possible. You were so devoted to me and I feel like I have let you down by not being there in your time of need. You will forever be in my heart!! You were my funny boy racing around the house, leaping over the steps. Amazed how you seemed to know how to tell time especially when you wanted your dinner or your bedtime cookie! Loved how if I was working on the computer and you were feeling left out you would paw at me and if that didn't work, you would go under the table and stick your nose in my lap. His nickname was Secret Service Dog because he would always seem to stand guard if I went into the bathroom and he followed me all day long through the house. If I got up to go into another room for something he would get up even if he had just laid down. I'm not sure how I will get along without you my precious boy. You had a beautiful short life and I'm so happy I was able to give it to you as you have given me more joy and love in return than you will ever know. RIP my sweet angel and I hope we meet again soon.
