Rest in Peace Apollo August 21, 2001 - October 16, 2017. Farewell Apollo, you were always there for me purring and made me feel better with unconditional love. Your brother Starbuck and Skip miss you and we miss you, too. We had some special times with us celebrating kitty birthday parties, morning play time with toys, Apollo's excitement to see a new front window, and photos of Apollo playing with Ashlyn's baby toys. The past few weeks Apollo spent a lot of time purring on me to the point where I cared for him like a baby. I'll always remember him sleeping on my pillow like this when I slept with him. I'll see you on the other side in heaven, Apollo. The pain is so huge when they are so close to us.|
Your brother Starbuck continues to meow for you nonstop. At least I can show him this memorial as he's purring on my arm now.
Apollo I gave you a banana and carrot as those were your favorite catnip toys. Ashlyn would go to Petco and pick those out for you when she was 5. She would say "Apollo loves the banana" or "Apollo loves the carrot".
You were in the cat house and she put up a sign that said "Apollo's house". You brought our family so much joy. Please know that we love you and we will never forget you, Apollo.
Apollo we still miss you so much. Your brother Starbuck still walks around and meows for you. I've been giving him a lot of attention. This evening I cuddled with him as it was cold and said "Do you miss your brother? I do too" Apollo, I hope you enjoy the stocking and Christmas tree I left for you. You always enjoyed laying under the Christmas tree. I know it will be difficult when we bring out the Christmas decorations and see the ornament my friend Fe made with your photo, and your stocking. I hope you are having fun and making new friends in the Rainbow bridge, where you no longer have the pain of severe cancer and glaucoma. You are now free and happy as you were when we brought you and Starbuck home as kittens.
Dear Apollo, I did hang the ornament with your photo. The lady who made the ornament, Fe, saw the photo on Facebook and loved it. That way you were in your favorite spot, the Christmas tree, all during the Christmas season. With the 3 fish on your stocking, you were missed. Skip is on the bed with Starbuck now. I found a photo of the 3 of you on Ashlyn's bed 4 years ago! I miss you cuddling up to me on these cold winter nights. I hope you had a lovely Christmas on the Rainbow Bridge, Apollo. Happy New Year!
