Welcome to Achilles's Rainbow Bridge Memorial Residency
Memories of Achilles
From the time I picked you up from the farm to the time you took your last breath, you started in my arms and ended in my arms. Words cannot express how much I miss you. There is a void in my heart that can never be filled. You were with me as I grew into adulthood and was there to console me when I was feeling down. You gave me unconditional love. You were my world, my comfort, my therapy. You are selfless and irreplaceable. You almost died as a kitten from an upper respiratory infection. You almost died again as a young adult from part of your hind leg being torn by a predator. Hence the oxymoron in your name. The Greek God himself died from his achilles heel but not you! You were a warrior until the day you passed on. You could have passed on earlier but you fought to be with me until you took your last breath. Im sorry if I caused you more suffering and pain trying to alleviate you from your illness. Please forgive me. You are a beautiful spirit and I can't wait until we meet again. Love you Forever,Mom.
