I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Zeke. Please find comfort in knowing that Zeke is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Dear Betty, your memorial for Zeke made me cry. It is obvious just how much Zeke meant to you and no doubt how much you meant to him. Yes, I know that silence - it's awful. Just so so quiet, no barking, no 'presence' in the home. Even though (in my case) there are others still in their 'human form' at my feet, when one crosses that Bridge, it leaves such a huge gap. The most recent gap left by Buzzy B Bear who was the loud leader of the pack. Thats almost 6 months ago, and the energy in the house is still so quiet. At least Zeke is at peace, warm and happy, playing with his brother and other new friends. I am sure he is remembering all the great happy times he had with you and all those cuddles. For sweet Zeke, I know that during your lifetime you gave Betty much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness playing in the meadows beyond the Rainbow Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what Betty wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Zeke, I have two wonderful playmates for you. Their names are Pedro and Keshet and both are adorable just like you. I know you will be very good friends. For Betty, I just visited your Zeke's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for the loss of your precious Fur Angel. I am sure if asked, Zeke would have said that every day spent with you was a blessing.
