I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Toccoa. Please find comfort in knowing that Toccoa is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Toccoa and Spooky have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: Take Care, Susan

Happy Holidays & welcome to the bridge…the bridge is a wonderful place for you to be until you can be reunited with your humans once again. Take time out from hanging your stockings, lighting the Christmas tree, lighting the candles, hanging ornaments & playing with your new friends to send your humans lots of holiday smooches. You are missed so much in your loving home. At the bridge, you are no longer ill… in pain… tired… scared… you are happy, meeting new friends & so much more. They say that when we lose our young fur babies, it's because a human baby had to go to heaven & you were needed to welcome & comfort that baby.

Tracy, How wonderful to read everything you wrote to your precious little one. Todays been my first week and I still am having a very hard time. I miss Trek so much and yet am trying to make sense of it all. I am glad to read that each day you find a little joy in your heart over your loss. Maybe one day soon I can have that same joy, but for now my nights consist of wet pillows and lots of kleenex. May you continue on the journey of God's healing touch in your heart and may you know others out there feel and know what you have gone through. Thanks for letting us share in your moments of the day with all your wonderful letters you write. Blessings, Pamela

My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

To precious Toccoa, a new angel at the Rainbow... I can just see you now with your feather-soft guardian angel wings, watching over your family back here. And I just know by now you've had a chance to look around for the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored afternoon naps, haven't you, sweet baby angel... And each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that all those who loved you back here have actually helped make it shine a little brighter. How? With their tears, sweet baby. Each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... You now find rest in the Arms of God's very own Angels...what more could your family have ever wished for you? What more could have ever been wished... Rest well, little one.

Toccoa, What a beautiful baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your family so much that they now know the true meaning of unconditional love. They long for the day to be able to hold you and to look into your eyes again.I know just how grateful you are for all of love and care in which they provided you. They miss you baby, so very much. I know that you don't want them to be sad for too long, but instead, be happy. For you are happy, content at peace and have been surrounded by so many others who also love and adore you, including my Shayna Girl and Leche.I extend my deepest condolences to you for the loss of Toccoa.I know just how painful it is to have lost your angel, for, I too, lost mine. Please vist my Shayna Girl at: and Leche at My thoughts and prayers are with you. Until we are with our babies again. Shayna and Leche's mommy, Lisa

Dearest Toccoa - welcome to Rainbow Bridge where you will be forever happy. You have earned this wonderful place for eternity because of the love you gave to your humans while you were on earth. They miss you, but they will always love you and some day you will be reunited. Until then, I have left a bone to share with your new friends on you wonderful journey to Rainbow Bridge. God bless you and your human family.

I don't know why you only had your baby for such a short time but it must be seen as God's will no matter how difficult it is to deal with. We were very lucky and we had Joshua for 17 1/2 years but the pain is still very real no matter what the time may be. Know that one day you will be together again. I know that letting go is so very hard but we must trust in the love of the Lord and move on. Blessings.................
